Be Fluent In the Word Before You Have Influence On the World

This one is for my bloggers, businesswomen, and babes who are trying to make their mark on the world through a strong social influence. You have the foundation, the forte, and you foresee the promise but for some reason, you don’t have the following. Have you found yourself frustrated because you felt like nothing was going your way? Or have you felt that you were blocked, beaten down, and bound with no escape? Or maybe you feel like nothing you try abounds, therefore you become saddened and wonder what you are doing wrong.

Well, I’m here to tell you this:

“Your attitude affects your altitude.”

Have you heard this quote before? Essentially, what this quote is emphasizing is that our perspective ultimately affects our progression. So let’s challenge our thinking and begin sinking deeper into a possibility why you have not fully acquired what you desire.

Have you ever considered that God wants you to grow before He allows you to go? Since He’s a good father, He doesn’t want to send His children out prematurely or unprepared. He wants you to be well-equipped so you can truly make a shift in society.

So what can you do as you prepare for placement and appointment?

Spend Time with God

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Seek His face and allow Him to heal, help, and hone you. During this time, it may feel like a trial that you do not know how to get out of. You may feel like you want to just give up and pursue something else but I say be encouraged and remember this verse.

“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” –1 Peter 5:10

Spend Time with Yourself

Do you truly know yourself, sis? Can you really help others when you can’t help yourself? The more you spend time with God, He will begin revealing things to you, about you, that probably never crossed your mind before. He will start revealing the gifts He placed on the inside of you and the plans He predestined for you.

” ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ” –Jeremiah 29:11

Commit to the Process

Don’t you want to tap into that precious, predestined plan from God? If you do, you just have to stay the course. I know you feel like you’re drowning but you’re developing. I know you feel like you’re losing but you’re learning. I know you feel stagnant but His grace is sufficient.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” –2 Corinthians 12:9

When you come through this season, you’ll truly see that God had you in it for a reason. Don’t rush, just trust. After you learn yourself, the Lord and the word, maybe then you’ll have that strong influence on the world.
